Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode
The Indian Institute of Management consists of seven national business schools, each located in India’s seven main cities. It was established in 2007 to specialize in political and economic research, along with management consultancy services, becoming one of the top institutes in the world. Among the seven universities is IIMK, Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, which was established in 1996, and although it does not have a long history, the quality of courses and student enrollment has continued to rise rapidly. In terms of Indian management, development of individual talent, and research into new fields of study, IIMK has occupied an important position, receiving recognition by the AACSB, The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, in 2012. Moreover, in regards to international academic exchange, IIMK has cooperated with top management schools in Europe and the ASEAN region, including ESCAP-EAP in France, Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Italy, University of Queensland in Australia, and many more. After NCCU and IIMK started to collaborate with one another, each semester, each school sends two graduate school students overseas on exchange programs to the other school.
