Western University Richard Ivey School of Business
Western University Richard Ivey School of Business (UWO) was founded by Bishop Huron in 1878. It is one of Canada’s oldest universities, and is a non-religious public university that capitalizes on religious resources. Although the school has a long history, its academic innovation and the tradition of self-development has rendered it a dynamic learning center. Its Ivey Business School enjoys an excellent international reputation and is referred to as the "Harvard Business School in Canada." In addition, as an internationally recognized provider of elite MBA programs, the school has been awarded No. 47 in the 2009 Global MBA ranking by Financial Times (Financial Times Global MBA rankings 2009, http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/global-mba-rankings).
