Waseda University, Graduate School / School of Commerce

Founded in 1904, Waseda University’s Graduate School of Commerce has the longest history among private universities in Japan. Since its establishment, the university’s ultimate objective has always been providing young people with a strong foundation for professional skills and knowledge. For more than one hundred years, the university has cultivated numerous outstanding leaders in Japan and elsewhere. The Graduate School of Commerce highlights an independent academia, with autonomy and freedom in conducting research, to promote creativity, and by establishing many overseas exchange programs and fostering multiple international leaders to fulfill the school’s goal of internationalization. Additionally, foreign faculty members round out a completely internationalized learning environment.
